Server Downtime - Wed 14th Oct, 6pm GMT onwards

Its that time again! Some essential updates coming out to our Beta fixing some of the issues we've been informed of and some others we spotted ourselves. Because some of these changes require core backend changes we will be forced to take the server down after 6pm GMT tonight to apply these changes.

Highlights of this release:

• Default Dashboard now has the Getting Started, RSS, Edit Profile and Activities dashlets as default. This will not affect current users but appear for all new users going forwards
• The wiki WYSIWYG editor buttons have been modified to give more formatting options for editing wiki pages. The wiki edit page now fits properly in Internet Explorer, and the versions are shown below in the correct order
• Internet Explorer navigation issues have been fixed - you can now cut and paste a URL to send to a colleague without the browser navigation getting messed up
• Multiple fixes to the dashboard including the Dissapearing Dashboard issue highlighted on GetSatisfaction. No more dissapearing dashboards!
• And many more....

As you can see our priority for this release is ironing out all the bugs we've caught in Beta, and we hope that this release is a milestone in removing most of the obvious issues we've seen and moving toward a more stable platform.

Our next release will include new features, and we are striving towards addressing any usability and performance issues as we go forwards during Beta to make SambaJAM fast and easy to use. Your feedback, as always, is appreciated!
